Fowk

We are a collection of actors who lost our work during the pandemic but have come together to create amazing, magical and mystical stories for people to enjoy at home for free. FOWK is a team made up of Michelle Bayly and Liam Scarth who co-produce, co-write, co-direct, voice, edit, market and create the music/sound fx of our pieces. Whilst we are in lockdown we have aimed to create audio stories, as it's the easiest way to bring actors together to make something. We've found our projects have no only brought affordable entertainment to audiences but they have also given actors motivation, something to work on and a sense of community during these times. We will use donations from Ko-Fi to pay our actors and help them during these times. If you would like to buy them a coffee or pay the price of what you would pay for a ticket to see a show, we would appreciate it and every little helps during these times. We wish you all the best and are looking forward to sharing with you our Winter Story- The Tale of The Winter Sun on 24th January 2021. It's a magical tale that follows a young girl called Cei, as she crosses the wall of her Town to go on an adventure to find The Sun, who has gone missing. This story is influenced by winter folk lore from around the world, re-written in a new story that reflects a new moral we all need to learn in these modern times.
