Hello! I'm out here in Istanbul building my studio where I'm developing fine art, interactive games, including TTRPGs and comic book stories. All support you can give me goes directly into the studio, the tools, materials to create art work, prints and prototypes. It also helps me continue to offer workshops and consults I give to young Turkish creatives out here (i've been doing this for the last 2 years now) who are just starting out in the creative industries (mostly games/animation etc). I do want to finally start getting paid to teach again (!!) but I will always commit to a % of my teaching being completely free to access. I know it has made a giant difference in the lives of these creatives out here. I'm getting everything ready to finally finally launch an online gallery and shop. The last year I've been making ludicrous amounts of art and stories, learning Turkish pretty much from scratch to foster and build relationships with manufacturers, small batch artisan workshops, the art scene out here, learning a bolt load of different processes I've also been teaching as much as I can in art, design, narrative development, game design and literally everything - providing a lot of mentorship in professional development to build and contribute to a community of amazing young creatives and game artists out here. Some specifics: TTRPGs have been especially exciting. I have a couple of my own, starting with my absolute favourite Barracuda Bay, and then one I'm co-developing with a fellow writer called Wizards Suck. My first micro short comic book story, Sea Bunny: Carrot Season will be published in an anthology from a Canadian publisher. I'm developing a collection of fine art - which i'm trying to HOLD BACK from talking about too much, but basically it is the work I love most and just can't wait to get it all out into the world. Until the shop opens there isn't any cash flow or income, so if you can support till then so I can finally get it over the line that just would be so phenomenally appreciated.
