I was born in London and moved to Derbyshire where I trained as a Horticulturist with the Royal Horticultural Society. Whilst working part-time and parenting full-time I completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Zoology with a minor in Film Studies and then studied for a Master of Science (MSc.) degree in Biological Photography and Imaging at the University of Nottingham, achieving a Distinction grade. I now work as an ecologist with a multi-disciplinary civil engineering company. I call Scotland home, a country I had always dreamed of moving to; but live in Derbyshire while I work as an ecologist. Both Scotland and Derbyshire offer beautiful landscapes and wildlife to photograph, which is their main draw for me. Otherwise, I throw swords around, I enjoy archery, hike, write, grow plants and eat some of them. I care for bats and release them back into the wild. 🦇
