Let's make something epic together! ⭐️ The Concept of Flux Destiny ⭐️ Flux Destiny unfolds in Fortuna, a fictional country set in a wild, theme park-like world with a vibe straight out of '90s America. Here, everyday life and surreal fantasy lands called flux destinies blend together, creating a visually stunning spectacle! In this universe, every human action generates karma—a supernatural energy source with endless practical applications, from powering modern machines to healing injuries. Escape Artists are the people in Flux Destiny who wield karmastry, a magic that manipulates the Great Machine—a cosmic network of Gears of Destiny that control the universe. With karmastry, they can pull off insane feats like controlling the weather or bending physics. But there's a catch: using karmastry comes with payback. Messing with the natural order causes the Great Machine's "immune system" to strike back at karmastry users with deadly force in various creative ways. Karmastry is a unique magic system I developed, drawing inspiration from the concept of karma. This system intertwines karma's cause-and-effect themes, forming the core of the magic. It gives people in this universe their superhuman abilities, but keeps things in check with payback. Payback adds a major risk that characters must keep in mind when using their powers, laying the groundwork for really exciting stories. 🥠 The Story 🥡 The central storyline follows two teenagers, Hugo and Marco, each gifted with unique karmastry powers who were striving to become Escape Artists themselves. However, their lives take an unexpected turn when their involvement with the reclusive Fortune Telling Club sets off a dramatic chain of events at Wolfgang Academy—one of the top Escape Artist schools—turns their lives upside down. As Marco and Hugo navigate their chaotic situation, their very beliefs will be challenged—forcing them into a coming-of-age journey they never asked for but needed more than they realize. The entire mainline series is planned to span 7 novels. ✨ Why I'm So Inspired to Make This ✨ While wrestling with my own personal ups and downs, I had this crazy idea of building a universe where karma and destiny are as legit as gravity. My fire comes from expanding this world through web comics, novels, games, and animated stuff, teaming up with talented artists, writers, programmers, and musicians all along the way. I'm all about making a kickass, immersive experience for everyone who joins in. My endgame? To create a wickedly detailed and captivating fictional universe that lets fans dive in, making their own original characters and stories right next to our main peeps, Hugo, Marco, and Lucky.
