Hi, I'm a freelance writer & editor. After being made redundant from my teaching job in 2017, I decided to retrain and now I have a book published with my name on it! Having lost my father to a massive stroke very suddenly in March 2017, as well as being made redundant, really made 2017 my 'annus horribilis'. I'd written poetry on and off for many years, and loved writing, but it was only after the shock of 2017 that really kicked me into gear. Since then, I've written Virginia Woolf in Richmond, which was a labour of love and had my first short story published. I'm working hard to write more short stories and I am submitting them to competitions and places for publication if I think they are suitable. I also write ELT materials and love coffee.
